Cornerstone Hospitals of Austin are licensed acute care hospitals
with JCAHO accreditation – containing a total of 133 licensed
beds including a new state-of-the-art ICU at the Austin Main campus
on Burnet Road. The hospitals are designed as a bridge in the continuum
of care and are intended to facilitate the achievement of individualized,
functional goals for medically complex patients. This business philosophy
guides the medical programs providing services for pulmonary, wound
care management, medically complex patients and medical with rehabilitation.
The programs are designed to compliment the continuum of care provided
by traditional hospitals, skilled nursing units, home health and
rehabilitation hospitals. Cornerstone Hospitals of Austin prides
itself on providing personalized care to its patients and their
families. We provide ICU services that are augmented with rehabilitation
concepts.
Cornerstone Hospitals are approved providers with a wide variety
of HMO and PPO managed care plans. We negotiate and establish rates
on a case-by-case basis for non-contracted providers.
